Jolene goes to the Flutter Experience

If you are like me, you have seen both ads and posts about the very Instagrammable Flutter Experience. When I was planning my dear friend Mariah's birthday, I thought surprising her with a trip to this photoshoot Mecca would be perfect. Having been to the Museum of Ice Cream and the MODS Museum, I felt like I had some LA photo-friendly pop-ups experience. However, I was proven wrong in the best way possible.

I purchased tickets ahead of time online, securing a spot for this birthday adventure. Make sure you buy your tickets ahead of time, for the time slot you want!

Upon arrival, we were greeted by the founder of the Flutter Experience and were given a quick background of what Flutter is about. We were encouraged to have a spirit of playfulness and let ourselves be free.

The first room we entered was one I'd seen all over socials, and it did not disappoint in person! What the photos don't show you though, is that Flutter is so much more than taking beautiful photos. I really don't want to give too much away. but just know that each room, while gorgeous and Insta-worthy, is meant to be experienced and interacted with.

I also really, really loved the staff. We had a guide in every room, giving us information about the artist, details about the room, and they even helped us take photos.

I was particularly impressed with the fact that the staff paid attention to the details. Not only were they making sure all guests were on schedule (like checking on rooms to make sure the party in front of us was finished before we entered), but they made our trip very special.

In the first room, music was mentioned. I playfully asked if they took requests, and before we knew it "Burnin Up" by the Jonas Brothers was blasting in the first room. In a later room, music was also a big part of the experience. Without our requesting, the guide put on "Jealous" by Nick Jonas, since we had mentioned him earlier. It warranted quite a response from us, as we were caught off guard. Small details like this made the experience incredibly special.

Overall, it was an extremely positive, playful and cathartic experience. At any given moment, we were encouraged to explore our individuality and creativity in our own way. The activities were not intimidating and ended up being so fun!

Will you be visiting the Flutter Experience any time soon?

Until next time,

Happy wandering!
